General Club Noticeboard : Rules for Men’s Honours Board Competitions with Qualifying Rounds

  1. The top 12 players in each round from the Bourne/Rochester/Little Cups will qualify for the final. Places are tied e.g. 12th-14th all have nett 70 then 14 players qualify from that round. No reserves.

  2. The top 4 players in each round from the Aitchison Gray Cup will qualify for the final. Places are tied e.g. 4th-6th all have +4 then 6 players qualify from that round. No reserves. 

  3. Where a player qualifies more than once, qualifying positions will not be passed down the list.

  4. Players who have qualified are still required to pay the entry fee in subsequent rounds to enter the sweep that day.

  5. The draw will be made 1 week before the final date. 

  6. Players must play in the drawn times to be eligible for the cup and final prizes.

  7. If a tie, Cup winners will be decided on countback as per standard competition rules. 

  8. There will be an additional sweep on the day of the final. This is optional for finalists if they only wish to play for the cup and final prizes. Finalists would be eligible for both the sweep and final prizes if entering the sweep.
