As a result of new Government restrictions we have taken further advice regarding playing golf and socialising going forward. Playing golf can continue in its current format allowing up to 6 people from different households.
Clubhouse - New regulations state that you cannot socialise with anyone who is not part of your household or support bubble. This would imply that two members or more of a household could enter the clubhouse and sit together but others would have to sit on a table individually and alone. So for the majority the one person one table rule is in force from tomorrow (30/9). However, this is clearly not a feasible option from an accommodation perspective nor financially viable. We are continuing to review clubhouse facilities and will continue to do so with the new restrictions in place.
Previous rules still apply such as social distancing, the wearing of face masks within the clubhouse environment and table service only, will all continue.
We have already had an instance of a member proving positive for Covid-19, fortunately with, to date, no adverse effects on the member or requiring any action on our part in relation to quarantine at Ryton Golf Club.
All regulations will continue to be monitored and reviewed.
We can only ask, be sensible, be aware - your wellbeing and that of our staff are paramount.
