Dear Members, for those of you that have part paid their 2020/21 season membership subscription please see the following:
We discussed at the AGM, various methods of making payment of subscriptions and decided at that time the following:-
1. A payment roughly equal to half your annual subscription to be paid March 31st with a new payment equal to a full year's subscription to be paid on October 1st 2020 to cover the period through to September 30th 2021.
2. At the time of the Coronavirus lock-down at the end of March, a number of members deferred the full payment of their membership and an interim payment was made with the balance of the money relevant to your category (Full, Senior or Mid Week member) to be paid before the end of September.
However the current situation with lock-down restrictions and overall uncertainty going forward has led to a decision that we wish to withhold any changes to subscription payments relating to the first option above. By doing so we can "close off" this financial year which has involved income streams outside our normal situation and review any new schemes either at an AGM in 2021 or by some other method if restrictions are still in place.
We would therefore be grateful if all members who have used the part payment scheme could pay the balance of their subscriptions at the earliest opportunity, this will allow us to close off our accounts for the financial year ending the 30th September 2020 for submission to our accountants for audit purposes.
You can pay the outstanding amounts by one of two ways.
- By Card Payment and calling the Secretary on 0191 4133253 option 2 to pay over the phone.
