Further to the recent announcement from the Government regarding new restrictions being applied in the North East we are pleased to advise you that as far as continuing to play golf, the situation remains unchanged. However we do have to apply the rules put in place originally which sadly are not being adhered to by all members and are therefore being reiterated to avoid any future problems whilst endeavouring to reduce health risks to all and sundry.
Do not arrive more than 20 minutes before your tee time .
A maximum of four players at any one time on the first and subsequent teeing areas and only arrive on the first tee 5 minutes before your allotted time.
All preparations prior to play to take place in the car park and NOT the locker room.
A maximum of two people at any one time in the locker room maintaining the required social distance of two metres.
Do not congregate in the car park with groups over the maximum of four people.
Entrance to the locker room is still by way of the front door adjacent to the 18th green with exit via the rear door maintaining one way traffic. This applies when using the bar facilities also, using the designated entry and exit doors.
Clubhouse and bar - The new restrictions relating to food and beverage supply state that table service ONLY is allowed. We will struggle to comply with this because of staffing and cost implications. We shall therefore carry out a trial this weekend, providing table service only. Please sanitise on arrival, sign in with contact details, place your order at the bar and wait at your table for service. Based on this trial with feedback from the staff and members, we will determine whether or not we can continue to provide the current clubhouse facilities.
In the meantime the one way system will continue throughout the clubhouse. If using the coffee machine, sanitise pre machine usage, remove your order and if necessary advise the staff who will re sanitise the machine.
We want you to continue to enjoy the use of these facilities, please maintain social distancing at all times, adhere to the rules and hopefully we will get back to a somewhat more normal situation in the short term.
Your wellbeing and that of our staff are paramount, follow the rules, stay safe
