Sixteen ladies played in the inaugural competition for Lucy Harris's Friendship Bowl, on Sunday August 5th and while the weather was perfect, some ladies found the course conditions tricky and no-one managed a hole in one at the 18th!  It was nice to see not only Lucy but also Fiona, May and Avril down at the club (and a few gentlemen!), as well.  A raffle held to raise funds for the Durham County Juniors was also very well supported and raised £67.50, so many thanks to everyone who took part (and donated prizes).

2nd Sarah Bendelow, 37 points

3rd Debbie Renshaw, 35 points
