The Club is greatly saddened to hear of the death this morning of John Hardisty, at the age of 79, after a long battle with cancer.  John had been a member of Ryton GC for almost 30 years and was a lovely man who was very well liked by all who knew him.  He had been a captain of the seniors section and a regular golfer up until the late summer of 2021.  He will be sadly missed by us all and our thoughts are with his wife, family and all his friends at this time.
