Dear Members,

After updated guidance from golf's governing bodies today. Golf courses can reopen but must follow these strict guidelines.

Course reopen - Wednesday 13th May - Restrictions which MUST be adhered to.

Tee Times can only be booked on line using the BRS System, email ( or by direct telephone call (01914133253 Option Pro Shop)

Bookings will commence from this evening and no more than 7 days in advance.


The course is open to members and playmoregolf only, playing social golf

All golf attire to be changed in your car or in car park.

Tee off times will be every 16 minutes with arrival at course no more than 20 minutes before tee off.

Play is restricted to single players, 2 balls or 3/4 balls with members of the same household, at the discretion of the golf club.

Arrive at 1st tee no more than 5 minutes before your booked time maintaining social distance.

During play, if a ball is lost or out of play, do not double back.

Pro Shop - CLOSED at the moment. When it opens only one person permitted at any time - card payments only - no cash transactions.

Club-House will remain CLOSED - access only to locker rooms for toilet/washroom facilities. Do not use the locker rooms to change clothes or to meet with other golfers.

There will be no catering or tea/coffee facilities.

Buggies not available at present, when available, will be single occupancy only unless your partner is from the same household and to be sanitised after use, especially steering wheel. Owner buggies will be allowed following the same rules.

All flagsticks will remain, do not touch, do not remove. Cups inverted as now, bunkers to be GUR with rakes removed, all ball washers out of use. These rules will apply for the foreseeable future.

Do not share ANY golfing equipment with other golfers (clubs, trolleys, balls, umbrellas etc).
At all times maintain social distance during round. On completion, hands can be washed in locker room, again maintaining social distance, vacate, return to vehicle and depart.

These rules can change at short notice. This depends on the guidance given to us by the golfing authorities.

Please enjoy the return to playing golf. Stick to the rules and maintain social distancing at all times.
