It is with great sadness that we have to inform our members of the death on Sunday November 5th of one of our well-loved members, Mrs Maureen Rook, after a short illness. Maureen joined the club in 1996 and was the Lady Captain in 2021. She won many trophies including County competitions, played for the ladies Sivewright team, and was a long-standing member of the ladies committee. She would always give 100% to whatever she was doing, whether it was organising Christmas competitions, fund raising or a ladies away day. Our thoughts are with Kevin and all their family members at this sad time.

She will be very sadly missed by us all.

The funeral will take place on Tuesday 21st November at 11.45 am, at Mountsett Crematorium, Ewhurst Road, Dipton, Stanley, County Durham, DH9 9JP.

The funeral will be available to watch via a webcast, if you would like the details for this please contact the office.

The wake will then be held at Ryton Golf Club.
