General Club Noticeboard : Course Reopening Guidelines - Members Only - Updated

Course Reopening - Information Update

The following is for the guidance of all members, to be adhered to, when playing the course after reopening.

Booking tee times - when booking a tee time you MUST include the registration details of your playing partner. ALL bookings made beyond seven days will now be deleted. If you have booked in advance of seven days you will need to book again as and when time allows this.

Please note when a member is playing with a visitor the payment must be made to the secretary prior to play. Please contact on 0191 4133253 option 2 to pay via card over the phone. If payment is not received prior to play the booking will be removed.

All players MUST be signed into the tee sheet. All times that are allocated as guest with no name next to them will be removed by the system 24-48hrs in advance.

Please Note - 3 and 4 balls are now allowed

The course set up will be from the Yellow and Red teeing areas only.

Preferred lies no longer apply and the use of mats is now withdrawn.

As previously stated, bunkers are GUR, rakes removed, flagsticks not to be removed, cups are now virus friendly and ball washers out of use

Locker Rooms - these are restricted to 2 persons at any one time.

Washing facilities - cold water only for hand washing. The virus does not differentiate between hot or cold water (we are informed), soap is the essential ingredient.

Golfing Equipment - anyone with golfing equipment in the locker rooms may retrieve this when returning initially to play golf. However, on completion of their initial game their golfing equipment cannot be returned to the locker but must be taken away from the club.

Closing of Locker Rooms - the locker rooms and access to toilet facilities will not be available after 6:00pm daily until further notice.

You MUST adhere to the 2 metre social distancing rule at ALL times.

After completing your round of golf, we would ask that you return your golf equipment to your car, use the facilities as required then leave the car park immediately. We would appreciate your help by not loitering in the car park any longer than is necessary.

These rules/guidelines are to be strictly followed to protect every member going forward. There will be a lot of members around in the next few weeks. So please don't spoil it for everyone else.

These rules/guidelines are not final and can be changed at any time.

STAY SAFE -PLAY WELL - ENJOY
