Ryton GC hosted the North Regional final of the Australian Spoons on Thursday July 16, with 23 pairs of ladies from the six northern counties taking part.  The winning pair qualify for the National Final at Woodhall Spa on Monday August 10th and the results of today's foursomes stableford competition, are:

1st Elaine Smith & Gillian Rogers (Harwood, Lancs) - 38 pts, over the back nine from

2nd Kath Stavers & Brenda Bailey (Ryton, Durham) - 38 pts

3rd Mandi Bottomley & Jan Walker (Stonyhurst, Lancs) - 31 pts
